There are those who know who is writing this blog and who created this website, because I shared with them. Mostly close friends and family.
Otherwise, readers have no clue who wrote these testimonies except they delve. That is by design. These testimonials are not about me. One day it will be known who wrote them, but in God’s time, not mine. My desire to be published was all about my own desires for fame and hopefully fortune, until I began to write this blog. Which is when I felt in my spirit that this is not about me. It is about God and His will. And if I add my name, people may praise me and my writing. He put it in my spirit that in order to let Him get the glory, to wait in putting my name until He said. And right now it is not the time for that. I feel it is God working through me. As the normal reaction is to tell the world who you are and try to get the glory. I mean, who doesn’t want to get praise for their work… but right now… I am just His secretary; and until He asks me to sign my name… It will be only His signature you will see… within each testimonial letter shared here.
It is all about Him and not about me. How can I take the credit for His work in my life? Sure the stories are mine, but He gave me the testimonials and stories to tell. This is about Him and His works in my life. So to keep yours and mine eyes on the prize, which is God in Christ, I will not share my name until He says.
It’s not about me.
So if you wonder who the Author is, then all I can say for now is, God’s will for me is the author. Who I am doesn’t matter at this time. When God chooses for me to share my name to the rest of the world, I will. But for right now I feel led to remain silent, so I don’t make this about me.
That is a hard task, to try and not get the glory for the writing. It is a natural hope and desire to be praised for your work. But in truth, the work was done by God. The reasons for these testimonials are to bring Him nigh to you and you to Him through reading. I am just writing the stories and the testimonials He gave me to write.
I mean, how often does the secretary who wrote and typed out the letter for her boss, based on what the boss said, when he said “write”, how often do they sign their own name to said letters? No, the signature at the bottom, even though the secretary wrote it, typed it out, printed it, per the bosses instructions, how often is their name signed at the bottom? Never. Unless the boss instructs. Why? Because the instruction to write is not coming from the secretary’s own will, but the bosses, and so it is the boss that signs.
So until God instructs me to sign MY name, it is all for and about God and all to His glory, not mine.
But that much said, through comments that are left by readers, I am fed. This is how I know He is saying… well done.
The glory belongs to Him.
Glory be to God in Christ… Amen.
